For a naturally ‘quiet’ person like myself, being quiet isn’t too difficult. However, it is in the quiet moments that our inner voice is the loudest…and that, my friend, isn’t so easy to keep ‘quiet’.
What are your inner thoughts? Do you tell yourself that you are an overcomer, able to do anything you put your mind to? Do you tell yourself that you’re worthy, deserving the love and affection of any man (or woman)? Do you tell yourself that you are perfect, just the way you are?
I’ve mentioned this before: our words hold power. What we say — especially to ourselves — hold the power to make or break our lives.
So stop discrediting yourself. There are so many people who will try to do that for you. Don’t be one of them. Be Quiet. Silence the mean and discouraging thoughts in your head, and speak promise over your life!
Tell yourself repeatedly that you are more than a conqueror, able to do all things (exceedingly and abundantly) in Christ. When you apply to a new job, or ask for a promotion, do so in confidence, speaking the new job into existence.
And once you truly begin to believe this, buckle your seatbelt and get ready for your harvest. You will see how things start to change, where one by one you’ll begin to check things off your goal list.
And man, is that an amazing feeling!
