Empty Pages

I’ve stared at this empty page for a while. What do I write? There are so many thoughts and feelings running through my head, but yet, here I am looking at an empty page. Bam! Out of nowhere, here comes my a-ha moment. Life is like an empty page. The pages are empty and you have the ability to write your own story. Just like the elements of a goodil_340x270.394461748_nyfq book, each of our lives follow a similar plot:

  • Exposition – the explanation of the story’s premise and background;necessary for the reader to understand the story.

  • Crisis – the peak in the story’s action–the moment of highest dramatic tension.

  • Climax – the scene which presents the story’s decisive action.

  • Resolution or denouement – the outcome of the story.

We each have a history that shaped us into the people we are today. In life, we go through many crises and climaxes–highs and lows–that form our story and define our life’s journey. And just like every story, our lives one day will come to an end.

Quotation-Lisa-Wimberger-life-Meetville-Quotes-143767While life may be scary at times, confusing or out of control, remember, you are the author of your journey. You are holding the pen. All you have to do is write. If you have dreams, don’t just chase them, live them. Complete your goals and try new things. Share your story with others, as your story may help them discover their own. Don’t leave your page empty…live your life to the fullest.  Make your life a story that is worth telling, and enjoy it! Take in each moment, the good and the bad.

And before you know it, your page will no longer be empty. You will be left with a full narrative of your life’s journey—that is beautiful and complete. Go live ‘Happily Ever After.’

The End.
