Help Me Give Back

Hello! Several years ago I underwent major surgery in which I had both of my legs broken, and a device called an external fixator was inserted into each of my legs. Because of how fragile my legs were, I had to be in a wheelchair for a little over a year, and I was in and out of the hospital. Although this was a very painful experience for me, it was also very eye-opening. I realized and experienced the struggles that those with disabilities have. I experienced what it is like to be a child in the hospital, being scared of the environment that you are in, all the while being sick. I have also experienced compassion–that smile or hand-squeeze from a nurse or doctor, letting you know that everything is going to be okay. My time at the A.I Dupont Hospital and Ronald McDonald house showed me how important compassion is to those children and their families that go through the struggle of illness or disability. I have always wanted to give back to hospitals or organizations that are centered around helping children with illness or disability. I am asking for your help. Alone I can only do but so much, but collectively, with all of your help, so much more can be done. All donations will be given to the Ronald McDonald House of NJ, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and The Tim Tebow Foundation–Cure Hospital.

This is something that I’ve always wanted to do. I understand that some of you may not know me, but please know that this is genuine.
