Maximize Creativity

Question for you: How are you maximizing your creativity?

I’ll be the first to say that I’ve been in a ‘creative slump’…as you can probably tell with the lack of posts on here lately. With everything that’s been going on, between work and the rest of the world, I haven’t felt motivated to be ‘Pink Caboodle.’

Does that make sense? In my mind, with the heaviness of everything going on, it just didn’t seem right to be posting about stupid stuff when people are literally dying.

But then I had a revelation — you never know the lifeline you are to people. You never know what your friendly smile, an act of kindness, words of encouragement, an act of creativity might mean to someone who is struggling to get by each day. People are waiting to be inspired by your creativity.

By sharing your gifts — whatever they might be — you can be saving someone’s life.

I know this can be a heavy load to carry. Trust me, I know — working in social media, I’ve been extremely busy lately, trying to help people feel connected in this time of isolation. It can be tiring, but I know the impact it is making on people’s lives.

I’m a firm believer that what goes around comes around. Just like a contagious smile, creating happiness for others creates happiness in your own life.

This week, I’m challenging you to be creative and to not keep it to yourself. Write a song, share a poem. Post a video of yourself singing. Share your artwork. I know it will bless someone this week. Use this time to maximize your creativity, I can’t wait to see what you come up with…

Pss…if you’re as obsessed with this look as I am, keep an eye out on the blog. I did a major haul from New York & Company — Over $1000 worth of clothes, for less than $150. Crazy right?! Keep an eye out…
