Christmas Season is finally here! Christmas is one of my favorite holidays…I will proudly admit that I began listening to Christmas music back in July (don’t judge me). What I love most about the holiday is not the gifts under the tree, or the sappy Hallmark marathon that I subject myself to each year…although those are pretty good. What I enjoy most about the holidays is the time spent with friends and family, celebrating the end of one year and the beginning of the next.
This year, I had several Christmas parties to attend, each calling for a formal dress to wear. When I stumbled upon this Drama Sleeve Dress from Eloquii, it was love at first sight, and I knew this was going to be my dress to reign in some holiday cheer!
The color is absolutely amazing. It’s seasonal red color is super rich, sure to stand out amongst the crowd. I’ve always considered myself a pink girl…but I’m surely crushing on this vibrant red dress. Pink is a derivative of red after all, so I’m not cheating! The mesh shoulder cutout is absolutely stunning, adding a little bit of sexy to the dress.
Speaking of sexy, the dramatic bell sleeves blew me away! I love how they cascade and ripple around my body, I felt like a true Christmas angel surrounded by all the mistletoe and holly. Have you worn dramatic sleeves like this before? At first I thought they were going to be too much and gaudy, but they were absolutely beautiful and added something special to my holiday look.
I found the dress, and the perfect earrings to go along with it. But when it came to shoes, I was totally unprepared. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that my mom and I were on the hunt for a pair a shoes to go along with this dress. After visiting a couple stores, I hadn’t found a pair that I felt rose to the occasion. But then I found these rose gold heels from Charolette Russe. Again, it was love at first sight, but if I am to be honest, I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to walk in them. After my surgeries, it’s been a long time since I’ve worn heels this high. I was pleasantly surprised. I wore these puppies for the entire night, even while doing the wobble! Although my feet hurt at the end, these should were still pretty comfortable. The metallic rose gold matched perfectly with the red of the dress, and the see-through straps added the illusion of having longer legs.
Eloquii certainly came to the rescue, for both me and my mom! My mom wore this classic silver dress from Eloquii, and if you ask me, she looked absolutely stunning! Look at her pulling my move with her hand on her hip lol! I loved watching her glow on the dance floor.
Lastly, to keep warm, I pulled out my white faux fur coat that I bought from Fashion to Figure last year, wearing it over my shoulders. It definitely came in handy, by the time the party let out, it was beyond freezing in my part of New Jersey.
So what do you guys think? Would you wear this to a Christmas or holiday party? Here’s a link on where you can find this dress and more to get ready for the holiday season. Besides their amazing clothes, what I truly admire about Eloquii is their desire to provide fashion for women of all body types — they tailor their close to varying body types because they know it’s not one size fits all. That’s something that I can deeply appreciate as my body does not fit the stereotypical dimensions often used in the fashion industry today. Eloquii understands, “a great outfit starts with good fit.” Their clothing reflects that! For me, this Drama Sleeve Dress is the perfect Plus Size Christmas Dress for the season, but they have so much more to choose from!

That dress is poppin’! I love the sleeves! The color is do pretty! Very nice for the holidays.
OMG right!? The sleeves are amazing!
That dress is definitely a winner! You look stunning, especially next to your pretty Mom. Meanwhile, my Spotify/iPod is always on shuffle. So if a Christmas song comes on and it’s June, guess what? I’m letting it play out. During this time of the year (and honestly for the past couple of years since they popped onto the scene), I only listen to Pentatonix Christmas albums.
Haha thank you! I love their music also, did you catch their Christmas special? So good!
