REVIEW: DermOrganic’s Skin Care System

Most likely you’ve seen DermOrganic hair products while walking through your local beauty supply store…but did you know they also sell skincare products?! I didn’t, at least not until a good friend of mine shared with me her skincare secrets—now I’m sharing them with you!

DermOrganic Laboratories finds pride in creating natural products that help “replenish, refresh and maintain” our hair and skin. They do not use harsh chemicals that are often found in hair/skin products, instead, they use ingredients that replicate nutrients found in our hair and skin, replenishing these natural nutrients to promote health and vitality.

DermOrganic is a pure company. All of their products are:

• All vegan.
• Made without animal by-products and are never tested on animals.
• Contain no sulfates, glycols, DEA, MEA, dyes or food coloring
• Gluten-free
• Contain no artificial preservatives. Paraben-free
• Made without salt, sodium chloride or other artificial thickeners

DermOrganic was kind enough to send me their SkinCare Sampler, which includes:

• Soapless Facial Cleanser 2 oz
• Facial Moisturizer 1 oz
• Hand & Body Moisture Lotion 2 oz.

The first thing I noticed when opening this package was the smell. It had a sweet fragrance that reminded me of crushed Smarties (yum Smarties). *They also have a very creamy consistency, which I love because I can literally feel the creaminess, the softness absorbing into my skin. After receiving the package in the mail, I tried just a little bit of the hand lotion and my hands are still soft and smooth a day later!

The Process:

Soapless Facial Cleanser

Starting with the Soapless Facial Cleanser, it says on the back of the box that this product is strong enough to remove makeup, yet is gentle not to irritate the delicate region of my eyes. I’m definitely going to put this to the test to see if it lives up to its word—in the past, with other products that claimed the same capabilities, after using I still would have make-up residue that needed to come off. Check out below to see if it works *fingers crossed*.

Facial Moisturizer 

This is the main reason why I wanted to try DermOrganic’s SkinCare products. My skin becomes dry
very easily, especially during the winter months when the cold weather is rough on my skin. Past products that I used would help keep my skin moisturized, however without long lasting results.

The Verdict

Hand & Body Moisture Lotion

The Hand and Body Moisture Lotion is A-mazing!!! Again, not only does it smell fantastic—smarties!—it really lives up to its name. It moisturizes your skin for days! My hands have never been so soft and baby-like. This is definitely a recommended buy, especially if you are looking for something to carry with you in your purse.

Soapless Facial Cleanser

This is something you have to buy…or at least try it for yourself. The Soapless Facial Cleanser truly lived up to its word. In the product description, it says that this cleanser is strong enough to remove your makeup and yet gentle enough not to irritate your eyes. This is something that bothers me when using other cleansing products—burning soapy eyes is not fun! So I truly put this product to the test by: 1. Making sure my face was packed with makeup 2. Recklessly applying this product all over my face, without fear of it getting in my eyes. Luckily, the Soapless Facial Cleanser did not let me down. I purposely opened my eyes while cleansing, and to my pleasant surprise, my eyes did not become irritated.

Most importantly,  the Soapless Facial Cleanser removed my makeup without a problem. Literally, no problem at all. I simply rubbed the cleanser into my skin, and most (if not all) of my makeup came off in just one rinse of the cleanser. This is AMAZING! I can’t tell you how many nights I’ve scrubbed, and scrubbed, and scrubbed my face trying to remove my makeup, only to find makeup residue still caked to my face the next morning! I know I don’t have to worry about this when using  the Soapless Facial Cleanser…it works and it works well! As you can see in the gif, it removes the makeup and rough skin, leaving you with a fresh face.

Facial Moisturizer 

This tops it off! The Facial Moisturizer will leave your face feeling silky smooth and soft…which for me is really saying something. I have a confession to make. I do not like water. I hate to admit it, but I can go weeks without drinking water. However, because I am trying to care for my body and my health, I am taking initiative and will try my hardest to drink my eight cups a day. Back to the moisturizer, my face is at times very, very dry. Just the other day, I went to Sephora for the first time in a couple years.  So here I am, sitting at the makeup counter, getting my face done by a Sephora makeup artist. She started putting some foundation on my face and stopped as soon as she started. In her squarely, squeaky voice, she asked me, “do you even moisturize your skin?” All I could do is stare at the girl. Yes! I do moisturize my skin, however, the products that I used in the past did not last in keeping my skin hydrated, and I believe dried my skin even further.

This product is perfect for using after the DermOrganic Soapless Facial Cleanser. It left my skin feeling soft and firm… like brand new skin. I could tell the difference in my skin right away, and I can already tell the difference in how healthy my skin looks and feels. 

Again, DermOrganic uses ingredients that supposedly replenish the healthiness of your skin, restoring the natural nutrients that keep your skin looking flawless. After using these products, I can clearly see how the DermOrganic Skin Care System is a must have! And, this is just the cream of the pot. DermOrganic Laboratories offer many other skincare products, such as their Argan Oil (can’t wait to try this). 

I’m so glad that I tried these products! They’re amazing and I look forward to trying more of DermOrganic’s products. I know they won’t let me down!
