There’s a quote by Abhishek Kumar that says, “Your self-talk creates your reality.” I absolutely love this quote because it is so powerful, and defining to the ability that we all have to speak over our lives.

Often times we forget how powerful our words are. You see, what we speak over our lives can dictate who we are, and who we want to be. Our words can be the difference between what we hope to accomplish, and what we actually get done. Our words can influence our emotions, how we feel and how we view ourselves. It is so important that we repeatedly speak words that will keep us encouraged and motivated to be positive. Repeatedly. Why? Because the more we ‘hear’ something, the more likely we are to believe it.

What is your voice saying to you? Is your voice supportive of your dreams and goals? Is your voice reminding you of your value, your strength, your confidence, your beauty?

  1. It is so true! Positive affirmations can be so helpful in setting you down a positive path. It’s so easy to talk and think negatively about yourself, I love your message here <3

  2. I love this resource! I feel like women often speak down to ourselves when we should be doing the opposite. It’s nice to have a visual reminder 🙂

  3. Interesting post. I know that I fail myself all the time and I really only can rely on God to give me the strength. Truthfully, we can only go so far before failing again.

    1. You’re right! He says in His word that “life and death lay in the power of the tongue.” We can speak life and live, or be burdened by the opposite…

  4. This is fantastic! I always say, “Talk to yourself the way you’d talk to your best friend.” Self love is so important!

  5. Self love is so important! If we talked to other people the way we talk to ourselves we would probably get beat up a lot or not have any friends! Thanks for sharing!

  6. Love this! It’s so easy to focus on the bad and let those voices feed our minds, but we really need to be feeding our minds with positivity ALL THE TIME to give us that drive! Perfect printable for all women to hang where they’ll see it everyday!
